1850s Austrian Vermeil Casket with Swan Drawn Chariot
A superior quality Austrian 15 Loth gilt silver (937/1000 pure) casket made in Vienna circa 1850 (exact date letter is smudged). Hallmarked HP under eagle, possibly for Heinrich Pfeffer. Weight 552 grams. Currently needs minor repair for split hinge, but that is being addressed by our silversmith.
